Why uploads get rejected
Portals check two things: the pixel box and the KB band. A photo can be exactly 25 KB and still be rejected if it is 400x460 instead of 200x230 - or the right pixels at 80 KB when the band tops out at 50. This tool does it in the right order: pixels first, then the KB band, so both pass on the first try.
How each upload type is handled
- Photos (IBPS/SBI, NTA): cropped to the required shape from the center, then resized to the exact pixels. Frame the face centered in the original.
- Signatures, thumb impressions, declarations: fitted inside the required box on a white background - never cropped, never stretched, so no ink stroke is ever cut off.
- Where the exam sets no fixed pixels (SSC and NTA signatures), your pixels are kept and only the KB band is enforced.
- If the portal requires a minimum KB as well as a maximum, the file is padded to reach it exactly without touching the image.

FAQ
What is the photo and signature size for IBPS exams?
IBPS PO and Clerk applications need four uploads: photo 200x230 pixels at 20-50 KB, signature 140x60 pixels at 10-20 KB, thumb impression 240x240 pixels at 20-50 KB, and handwritten declaration 800x400 pixels at 50-100 KB - all JPG. SBI PO and Junior Associate use the same sizes.
Does SSC need a photo upload?
No. For SSC CGL, CHSL and MTS the form captures your photo live with the camera, so there is no photo upload. Only the signature is uploaded, at 10-20 KB.
What are the NTA signature and photo sizes?
For NTA exams (JEE Main, NEET UG, CUET UG) the photo must be 10-200 KB and the signature 10-100 KB (10-50 KB for CUET), both JPG, with no fixed pixel dimensions. This tool keeps your pixels and fits the file inside the band.
Why do portals reject my photo even when the KB size is right?
Portals check both the pixel box and the KB band. A 200x230 photo at 25 KB passes; the same photo at 400x460 and 25 KB can be rejected. This tool sets the pixels first and the KB band second, in that order.
